Braemar Creek Condominiums, Williamsburg Virginia

As previously mentioned, I have a real estate broker license in both North Carolina and Virginia.   I am an Associate Broker with Long & Foster Realtors and represent the Builder/Developers at a beautiful condominium property located in Williamsburg, Virginia.  It is called Braemar Creek Condominiums at Greensprings Plantation and it is located off  Monticello Avenue.  The condo’s are set within the back nine holes of the Yorktown course at Williamsburg National Golf Course,  so many of the homes have awesome views!  Braemar Creek is developed and marketed by the award winning builders Plantation Group LLC and Franciscus Homes.

The homes at Braemar Creek have two collections, the Woodlands and the Linkside.  The Woodlands Collection have 1 and 2 bedroom homes  and some have golf course views.  The Linkside Collection have 2, 3 and even a possibility of a 4th bedroom, some with screened porches and sunrooms, and all except one floorplan have garages.  Every home in the Linkside Collection has a golf course view. Both collections have varying floorplans that include 1 level living, 1st floor bedrooms, handicapped accessible and loft-style,  so there really is something that fits most every persons lifestyle.

And speaking of lifestyle, that is really what buying a condominium is all about.  If you are looking for low maintenance, a condo is a great choice.  Exteriors and landscaping are both maintained by the condominium association.  Condominiums are perfect for the 1st time homebuyer, the downsizer, those wanting a vacation home in Williamsburg, or those that want to lock the door and travel.  And with the College of William & Mary located here in Williamsburg, Virginia, it is also a great option for parents of students…rather than pay for on or off-campus housing that you never get a benefit from, think of purchasing a condo for your student.

There is a beautiful clubhouse located on the Breamar Creek Condominium property that features a fitness roon.  Other amenities include a seasonal swimming pool and a tennis court.

Feel free to email me at lynne.jakobowski@longandfoster.com or to call me at (757) 947-7096 should you have any questions.  Also, check out the website at www.braemarcreekcondos.com.  It is loaded with floorplans, a site plan and beautiful pictures.

And for those that are not aware, Williamsburg, Virginia was chosen by Money Magazine as a top-five community for retirement!

You have to check us out!

A MEMORIAL TO RUSHWORTH a.k.a TINY

Being this is a new blog site, I want to tell you about myself.  I have always loved animals since I was a young girl.  My childhood pictures always had one cat or another in my arms!  Before my real estate days, I worked for many years at a large animal vet and over those years, I acquired many animals…horses, sheep, dogs, cats and bunnies.  As a real estate agent, my most favorite property to help buyers with is the purchase of a farm, particularly for their animals.  Currently I no longer live on a farm and while I have two cats, I do miss the other animals.  I love, love, love sheep and wool and yarn and chesse!

I currently get my sheep fix through the blogging of Susan Gibbs at Juniper Moon Farm in Virginia.  She writes a lovely blog, in fact the only blog that I read on a regular basis and have a feed from.  I have followed her through lambing season this year through  her daily postings and photos.  One particular lamb, Rushworth a.k.a. Tiny particularly captured my heart and I’m quite certain that of many other blog followers.  Tiny was a premature lamb, that had his ups and downs, but who seemingly was on his way to health.  Unfortunately, he passed away this weekend…a very sad thing indeed. For those of us that love animals, we have to deal with the losses, but we hold in our hearts and memories forever the special love that our animals share with us.

Below ia a picture of Rushworth a.k.a Tiny lamb.  This is from a posting on Susans blog and Susan, I hope you do not mind that I am sharing it here.  Thanks so much for opening up and sharing your life and may Gods arms surround Rushworth.

MY NEW BLOG

A new day and another new blog site.  I am an associate real estate broker in Virginia so plan to use my blog site to allow you to search Virginia real estate and to also be a relevant real estate resource.  In addition, I also want to make it fun and certainly not all business!  I will also include items of interest (ie events, great restaurants, etc.), so check back often.  I am in the process of setting this site up, so bear with me, as it is a work in progress!  Any comments appreciated.
